Did Stephen Breyer ever suggest that he waited to step down? Honestly, the amount of damage done by RBG should never be forgotten, but you aren't allowed to bring it up because people became stans after her "celeb" status came about.

Trump got THREE picks. I don’t want to hear it.
Disregarding the screwjob that happened at the end of Obama's presidency, it should have been limited to 1 pick. RBG has no business being there, especially given her record of health scares. You know, her daughter suggested that she waited under the assumption that HRC would be the one to announce her successor. Imagine playing with democracy over something as stupid as that.

And this article was telling:

Dorothy Samuels, a former legal editorial writer for The New York Times, conducted interviews for a book on Ginsburg starting in 2018. She asked friends and former clerks of the justice to look back to the period in 2013 and 2014. “I was struck by how many people I spoke with, including friends, acquaintances and former clerks, felt she should have resigned at the time and that her staying on was terribly self-centered — a view I share,” Samuels emailed me. “I was also struck that normally forceful advocates I spoke with would not express their dismay on the record while she was alive.”

Why Ruth Bader Ginsburg Refused to Step Down (Published 2020)
Yeah, I will never let that go.

:jbhmm:Why wasn't Amy Coney Barrett asked that for her confirmation hearing same question, is she not a women as well? She sentence the "pizza gate" guy that shot up that pizza spot, which is why the GQP is saying she went light on pedos when the GQP is Pedo & molester friendly. And her decision on the lockheart case has been explain that they was gonna sign away any future lawsuit rights, but I wouldn't expect sock puppets to get it.:unimpressed:

I look at RBG weird as hell knowing that most conservatives have more black law clerks than she ever did. She had ONE.

The detractors here can never explain their issue with her ruling in the Lockheed Martin lawsuit when asked :sas2:. They can never account for her child pornography sentencings being in line with other judges. You guys have everyones attention...you have the floor. But curiously refuse to explain your position.

She ruled against Black workers getting a settlement from Lockheed because the workers had "varying levels of discrimination." No one ever got paid because of that. It is very hard for individuals to sue a big company, so you have class action lawsuits. That was as anti-Black as it gets. And apparently, that wasn't the only case where she screwed Black people over. Supreme Court nominee Jackson rarely ruled for plaintiffs in bias cases

She was chosen for a reason. White husband? Check. Rarely ever ruling in favor of Black people? Check. That's downright biased.

People didn’t read the case. The lawsuit would have removed the chance for any claimant to ever sue again

The chances of them suing and winning on their own is slim to none, especially with her record of ruling against 95+ percent of cases like that. Have any of them ever gotten paid? So it was better for them to receive nothing at all and for Lockheed Martin to get off scot free? That's two birds with one stone.
