Majority of the companies I have worked at there has been Hispanics/Latinos trying to get me fired.

Many are descendants of slaves in those countries. We have more in common with dark skinned Haitians, Dominicans, and Ricans than we do native Africans if we're keeping it a buck from a historical standpoint. If the United States was a Spanish colony instead of British and we all spoke Spanish instead of English we'd be calling them our Carribean brothers. Cultural and language barriers create divides.

Used to live in el paso, the mexicans out there were far easier to deal with the white people in every other corner of the country.
But these were all college students. if you're experiences are limited to mexicans you meet while working in warehouses or something, it might differ
alot of people don't realize that their small circle of socialization is not reflective of the whole world. I know this super local at work. born and raised in youngstown never left the city limits. Thinks she knows everything there is to know about mexicans because she worked with a group of them at some beauty supply business. I tell her you know everything about those 4 or 5 mexicans, (if that) nothing more.

Maybe stop looking at people based only on their skin and figure out if they are truly genuine by their actions? Even amongst other black people there are those who aren't cooperative and looking out only for themselves. You've got to discern people's intentions. The inclination is that a black person will understand and cooperate with you the most since you can identify with each other. A cac the least. They are not, but neither are some black people. I had this black woman lie on me on her last day of work before retiring all because some cacs made her do work at her “on the job retiring party”. I would have easily done it, but my manager kept saying “no” due to compartmentalization and the cacs made the woman do it. I think she was also mad that I wasn’t jolly and smiling in her face. I’m a very straight faced person, but I wasn’t rude and plus this lady did nothing to me (at that moment), she was practically a stranger. But the bytch had to go lie. SMH. I was surprised. A two minute uneventful interaction someone turns into I yelled at her and was rude to her, lmao.

I work from home now and what a good thing

I used to work as a longshoreman here in LA and backstabbing was like a motherfukker where brothers and others i told them to stay to yourself and leave those certain mexicans , Asians and white folks alone and mos def don’t tell them about your personal life

They bring their whole crew in. At my last job the operations manager was Dominican her sister was there her husband and a bunch of other non qualified in laws and cousins was all managers.

Seen it happen to my mom at her job of 20 years too. All the black ppl even the one who speak Spanish either got fired or force retired.
