For the crowd they have now, it might be. Shades of grey heeliness are above the heads of lil jimmy and suzie...they are used to david vs goliath, superman vs. The leigon of doom, etc

Look at punk...until he went full blown heel he was floundering...its no difference...orton as a persona is the man so the crowd cheers. If he shoved that in their face as a full blown heel he gets over even more.
