lol i literally heard this on the hip hop station down in maryland yesterday and i was confused i was like i could have sworn i turned it to the hip hop station :dwillhuh: i didnt even know what it was til i heard the chorus. i still havent heard it all the way through though and dont plan on it

and on the radio thing, i dont turn on the radio unless i got other people in the car cause i assume they wanna hear it. normally i just play my ipod and listen to what i want instead of having it dictated to me

Song is ok, whoever said its a good pop song that just so happens to be about a simplistic critique of materialism is on point though...

Now whats different from other pop songs, is that its actually very bare bones on the production, just a kick a snare and some sub bass every once in a while... it actually has some simple 3 part harmony going on in a couple places, which is supposed to be the most basic of basics for vocal music, but i just realized they rarely even incorporate that on the radio songs in 2013... wow i just blew my own mind.. i didnt even realize they dont even bother with harmony anymore, its like strictly melody these days
