Gotta say that response was cringeworthy. That highly theoretical ish that is accepted as unassailable gospel on Twitter is no substitute for a concrete advocacy plan. They've done a great job with mobilization but they've come up short here.

Because that's what they are. They don't have a plan because they're not allowed to have one. You supposedly drive hours to speak to the forerunner of the Democratic ticket and all you don't have an agenda? Dude that was speaking speaking seemed mad feminine so I already expected fukkery :scust:

Yeah... I watched it yesterday at work. I'm not saying that everything she said was spot on but something that resonated with me the most is her telling that dude that you can expect to change the people's heart so you have to change the laws. I felt like that was homeboy's tipping point. He didn't know how to handle that but it's the truth. You can't change how these cacs feel.

You keep missing my point. Instead of aimless babble why not put forth a focused agenda to push, then find districts you control and put your own candidates in those seats in congress then people have to listen to you. Completely removing yourself from the process accomplishes nothing just as complaining without a list of demands does nothing.

If you are crying about something and someone asks you what do you want in order to stop crying, you damn well better have an answer or you will get nothing and go back to crying by yourself.

Contrary to popular belief politicians above all else want to get elected, their goal is not simply to help you. So what you have to do is show them than unless you get A,B and C you are going ot make it very difficult for them to keep a job. Thats how you get shyt you want. Thats the only way you get what you want. But if you dont even know what A.B,and C is they have no reason to listen to you!
100%
They're so focused on the presidential election because it's all about the show. They should have started by getting black people to vote in the right black people in Ferguson. Perfect ground zero. Enough of the show already, the hell with stampeding presidential elections. Let's get down to business. Too much grandstanding and peacocking.

‘I stand here in your space and I say this as respectfully as I can, “If you don’t tell black people what we need to do, then we won’t tell you all what to do.”‘ Jones said. ‘What I mean to say is, this is and has always been a white problem of violence. There’s not much that we can do to stop the violence against us.’

I haven't watched the vid yet, but he actually says this? :wtf:

This is an extremely embarrassing comment that spits in the face of the entire movement. :snoop:

stop it. he did get to the point. every point isnt made in a tweet.

he said what needed to be said. but again. then its time to let old head Dr Claude Anderson come in there with the "SO Now what we're going to propose from our end is This....... Reparations for black folks, a possible Sovereign Nation(doesnt mean it has to be a piece of land set aside.. but it could mean black folks only go to black court when arrested..to keep that racism down, etc, etc)

no, but elected officials are SUPPOSED to work for the people...they literally work for the people...and presidential candidates go from town to town saying "what are your issues" "i will address those issues by X" in order to earn a vote

hillary doesn't even feel the need to pretend to do that...its shameful

Stop being an idiot breh.
