No way we do a Saturday show. People are too busy. Let's make it a weeknight.
Wednesday is always the most opportune weeknight. Mostly because you're not competing with anything.

damn did I hear Kanye & Big Sean (of all people) outshine Jay-Z
Now, I know what I'm dealing with in that Higher Learning podcast. Yeah, I'll never ever go on there and debate hip hop with you guys. Nope.
damn brehs you've traumatized our moderator
No, I was just taking a shot at your ear for Hip Hop. As far as why I won't do that type of podcast? I'd have to spend the entire time being a Jay-Z apologist when I'm a fan of both artists. I don't want to. Nas was my favorite rapper in middle school. Jay-Z, Lupe and Common were my favorite rappers in high school.
breh have you heard the podcast? It's not combative like that. We can talk about whatever. I'm amused by you--who I don't really know or recognize from sohh, I only know you as the mod from HL--coming up randomly in that thread with a reference to the podcast. It's completely left field and kinda--how do I put this lightly--paints you as kinda hurt about something. I have an opinion on the song and it's sincere. That's all there is to it. Don't let it put you off talking to us on the podcast. It's a very gentlemanly affair and when it comes down to it.. what am I going to say about your taste? People like different things.
Quite frankly all my post warranted from you was a
Obviously, there are past discussions that you missed out on.
It's a puzzling remark because it takes my opinion on the song and wrenches it into a personal discussion about the social environment of and your potential participation on the podcast. It might have been light hearted but it's still not mundane disagreement.
I didn't miss out on your past aggravation about how we podcast participants didn't like the inexcusably bad 3 kings verse and the coli is a hornet's nest of Nas stans though. That's what's absurd here. You're carrying some sort of grudge about the anti-Jigga agenda the HL podcast supposedly engages in but it's not sensible or reflective of our convos about hip hop. You should get on with us and talk about whatever you might like it.
The only reason I'm elaborating is cause you're asking me to by saying my response is not warranted.
On the contrary your post is bizarre and I even responded right in that thread amused/puzzled before bringing it in here as another specimen of your railing about this matter that you've been talking about before.
It's not serious, I think it's funny, but you literally respondedright here saying you'd spend the whole podcast being a Jayz defender when that's not the case.
That's all. The only commonality between VVD and me here is probably that you're willing to dig your heels in and I'm happy to respond a few times while he responds infinitely (lol). Moving on though..
