What specifically was wrong with what I said? I used public choice economics though whole time. That's economics right?

I was using fundamental economics. Economics is a discipline that analyzes incentives, that really all it is.

I was trying to describe the principal-agent problem in politics, and I tried doing by being too ambiguous or using jargon. I failed to articulate that correctly, apparently. Oh well.

I started out using republican talking points like I would in the real world, but you guys seemed genuine, so I began being more honest about how I felt things worked out.

I'm ignorant to that aspect of policy. I thought a 2/3's majority was needed. then I heard Zero saying only 60 was needed. I was confused.

if this was 10 years ago, I would have known that and most current events. It's just not where my priorities are.

I enjoyed the philosophical discussion more than anything else, though. I was saddened that nobody else seemed that interested in it.

wait a second now that I think about it, it actually fits with Republicans these days. He did annoy me at one point in the podcast saying that it was hard to find information...that's a lie with the invention of this little tool called the internet. Visiting sites like Free Republic is probably not a great source for information. ANY site that is completely one sided usually never is.
