and the reasons the topics dry up so quick is because we are not strategic enough when we discuss things. realistically the difference between us and a successful, profitable radio show with dedicated listeners is that the former puts in more work prior to the show.
topics should be picked way in advance.
specific questions in relation to the topic should be talked about and laid out way in advance to guide the discussion.
ideally we as participants should be researching the chosen topics beforehand and coming prepared with our information
formats and segments should also be put in place to help the facilitation of the information.
bottom line if we want to be better then we have to put more collective effort into the podcast, thats it.
right now we're half-assing it, so we have a half-assed podcast... input=output all day long
and the funny thing is, even tho we're half-assing it we are still putting out better shyt than 75% of the competition imo.
