If I knew I would have added another comment about culture that it's a bit off key to fetishize media and fantasy stuff too much, defining your identity by what you watch, hear, wear etc

Good. I think we could use a new logo. I'm looking at the geekset logo and it's shytting on the plain jane red block letters on a black background.

Any graphic designers in here? I suggest some kind of swagged-out image of The Thinker.

I think we could use a Higher Learning podcast #5 TBA thread so we can start planning and sorting out the next one.

also...if you guys are going to be doing it live, please send a PM to both bkzson and I before it starts with a schedule. so we can advertise that the podcast is live and get more listeners.

i still think someone else needs to handle the live stream, i listened to a few minutes this week and it was still cutting in and out to the point where it was hard to follow. Hiphoplives4eva is already using his bandwidth to host the skype call which is probably why hes having problems. all someone else on the call needs to do is download a tiny program and change one setting on their computer and the streaming problem should be fixed. it doesnt even have to be someone who's participating, i called in with skype a few weeks ago just to stream it, i cant do this weekly so it would be helpful if someone else or a few people knew how to stream

His connection is fine for hosting. When I was on the Skype call with them there the sound was great with no interruptions. The problem is the rebroadcasting part
