No other franchise ignores the people that actually made the games like MGS.
And you got a bunch of remakes and re-releases there.
Dude has made 2 undeniable classics and 3 arguably “good” games in 25 years.
He don’t deserve the celebrity he’s gotten. IMO it’s insulting to his team, and the way games are made in general.

Almost every major japanese gaming franchise credits one or two people for its success lol
People act like Miyamoto been putting out every nintendo game by himself for the last 40 years
Miyamoto is responsible for leading all different types of hardware and software. The direction of nintendo software and hardware has been based on this guys ideas for decades. If anybody in gaming deserves to be idolized it’s him.
Kojima is nowhere near that, but still gets recognition like he deserves to be in that lane.

He pretty much carried konami for two decades, yeah he deserves accolades. He pretty much invented and perfected and an entire game genre
He also killed konami with his ego, and has never been able to match his own heights he did with the OG MGS trilogy.
