Tony Thompson and Tevin Campbell was neck in neck for cleanest rnb voices of that era.
man am i the only one that realizes all the parallels to new edition?
i mean, its obvious that they were meant to be the '90s new edition and all but most of the groups parallels are un-intentional.
tony thompson = an even better version of ralph tresvant........this might be the only intentional one.
dude that shot the cop = bobby brown.........might as well call him the bobby of the group. he even had that bobby brown look in the face.
treston irby = johny gill........deep-voiced guy from another part of the country that replaces "bobby" and sings lead in some songs.
Pooh = michael bivins...........short cool-ass dudes that were the leaders of the group. Pooh looked like he had point guard skills like bivins too.
the tall light-skinned bul = ronnie devoe.........
russell neal = ricky bell.........both got their main shine after the group. Bell as the lead-singer for BBD, and russel neal for this murder case. smh.
hi-five had like another 6 or more members tho, but thats all the notables right there.

Unsung is always piff, especially for them groups I only know about musically. I didn't even know anything about Montell Jordan. His wife was lookin nice. Didn't even think about all those hits he had and never really paid attention to the image Def Jam was pushing on him.
But this looks like a damn good season. Hi-Five, Troop, Bone Thugs, Chi-Lites and Rick James should all be piff. This is a perfect show for Troop and Hi-Five. Known on the R&B charts, but not quite the mainstream known superstars like Boyz II Men or even Jodeci for that matter.
