Am I the only one who didn't mind the Fatal 4-way match at Mania 16? I liked the McMahon in every corner concept and it gave Foley his Wrestlemania main event match, even if he didn't win. It also gave us the epic moment at Backlash with Stone Cold returning and Rock finally winning the belt.

Everything HHH has done in WWE was pretty unique and memorable but he was terrible in 2003

I never watch anything from that era except when Batista finally beat him at Mania

Batista vs HHH is a top 5 best long term payoff at Mania
That era was the first time I saw a old school heel faction, I was like 8 so I probably look back on it a bit fonder with nostalgia and shyt but I thought Evolution was excellent and a great NWA call back in hindsight

Rock need to listen to this interview because breh is out here built like a rhinoceros and it cannot be healthy :dwillhuh:

That's my GOAT too :mjcry:

Yeah I worry about Rock low-key. He's in this position where he has to stay big for movies, and if he gets off the juice he's gonna really shrink and fans will look at him differently. He won't be able to post these workout vids anymore

But he needs to get off.

Good to see HHH looking healthy.

I was at that show and have actually never watched it.

Met Crash Holly outside the wrestlers drive in tunnel. He was just standing outside with fans. That was in Dallas.

Then several months later I met him (and stevie Richards) on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Crash said he remembered me.

RIP to him he was a nice guy those times I met him

Solomonster from the Solomonster Sounds Off podcast went to a Q&A with Foley a few years ago, and Mick said he really didn't want or care about a WM moment/main event. He was just planning on attending the Mania fan events that weekend, and he was going to go home to watch the PPV. Of course, Vince called him and he was ferociously adamant that Mick needed and deserved to be in the main event and he offered him a guest spot on SNL and a lot of money too. I'm sure that helped make up Foley's mind to be in the main event.

Damn I didn't know that. :ohhh:

Doesn't surprise me tho, Foley always was very selfless and had no problem putting people over. Helped make HHH a permanent main eventer.

Was the Austin pop in the crowd as loud as it sounded on TV? That's maybe the biggest pop of all time

The talk is Jericho podcast with regal, Jericho confirmed this as well. He was supposed to be in Foley spot, had promotional posters done and everything

Vince soured on Jericho in that spot and called Foley to come back and take that spot, Mick told him at the time that Vince offered the type of money to put his kids through college

Wouldn’t be surprised if rock is natural. He’d be the answer of what does a Samoan that doesn’t stop eating or working out look like.
