and y'all said the the health problem was made up and a front to get him to fade to the background.

well he in the background permanently now

it's still a conspiracy right, he really dont got a defibrillator in him. :heh:
You can tell it was a serious heart situation..he wouldn't show his face and take credit for things..thats not like him.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
HHH vs Rock at Backlash 2000 might be my 2nd or 3rd most rewatched match ever. I absolutely love the match...it was HHH at his most dastardly, and Austin got literally the biggest pop of all time, and Rock won the title which he rightfully should've at mania

Favorite HHH moments:
  1. Backlash 2000
  2. vs. HBK, Summerslam 2002 (legendary match)
  3. Randy Orton feud leading to Mania 25 (until the bell rung)
  4. vs. Taker with HBK as ref
  5. Introducing the returning Sean Waltman, and turning Syxx (and subsequently Syxx-Pac) to X-Pac

The only grievance with the Backlash ME was it felt like something we should've seen at Wrestlemania the month before. Still a great match and moment. Speaking of Rock/HHH - I'll add two other of their matches:

Their ladder match at SummerSlam 98 was brutal fun to watch. It was the first time the crowd started popping for The Rock when he was a heel, I think HHH's knee got jacked up during that match which caused him to be out of action for a while, and there were some spots that would be a no-no in today's standard of match. It also brought the feeling back that the Intercontinental belt meant something. It was the match of the night on a GOAT tier Attitude PPV.

As far as Iron Man matches go, I'll take Rock/HHH over Bret/HBK any day. I know that opinion is probably not a popular one, but I found the WM 12 ME to be kind of boring on further rewatches while Dwayne and Hunter actually made their match more of a fun nail biter to watch. It was kind of a culmination of all of their matches together, because I don't think they had another 1 on 1 match for a while after that. Those two wrestled each other so many times from 98-00. But for some reason, it never fatigued the fans. I think it's because it went from two mid card acts feuding with their factions... to feuding for the IC belt.. to eventually feuding for the big gold. HHH and Rock were at their peak in popularity and in terms of in ring work. This was easily the top feud of the year 2000 and that match is both Rock's and HHH's top 5 matches ever as far as I'm concerned. The finish is a classic.

Rock/HHH could actually be one of the GOAT wrestling feuds the more that I think about it.

HHH is a legend hands down regardless if you hated or liked the man.

I watched the full interview and I thought it good. When he explained what happened to him God truly works miracles b/c that man went through it!

He may not have been as big as Austin, Rock, Hogan (Hoegan as some call him), or Undertaker but he played his role and did very well at it. When I look at his legacy he definitely put his heart (literally) into the business and he contributed outside of it as NXT will also be a BIG part of his legacy.

despite their history those 2 had chemistry in the ring that was nuts and yes their iron man match was better than hbk vs bret to me too.
