I remember reading that Kareem rubbed a lot of folks the wrong way and not giving him a coaching job was payback. It's gotta be the same for Ewing. Apparently Shaw's lack of offers has to do with a backlash against Phil disciples. This is how shytty teams stay shytty. Shaw absolutely has everything to do with everyone thinking he's just gonna bring the triangle with him. If I were him, I'd be pissed at Kurt Rambis. He ruined it for everyone with that. Had Kurt turned out to be OK, Shaw woulda got a head coaching job 2 years ago by a team piggybacking.

Its been said as a teamate he wuz a loaner and not the most friendly person,sum people want u to humble yaself and that's why it rubs them the wrong way....They used to say the same about Kobe but I think he's gotten better....as a coach though I don't think that type of personality will work though and that's prob what's. Kept kareem back if he even wants to be a coach....id say he's a hell of a one on one teacher tho lookin at bynum...bynum might have the "mean" attitude too lol

He's probably not a good teacher. You really have to be able to effectively convey your game plan to be a decent coach.
