Its crazy though how much respect Pop is given he can get anyone a job, wasn't Monty Williams on that staff as well? I refuse to be believe Patrick Ewing or Kareem don't got skills to coach in the league. I wonder if it might be them not being able to coach mentor or deal with todays NBA player?

But seriously how can this dude be a legit NBA legend who actually has been putting his work in learning the ropes not get a job when these new random cats are g:etting jobs?

Vaughn been an assistant coach for the GOAT coach Pop for a few years now, teams from all around the NBA been leaching the Spurs for talent

To me you couldn't go wrong if you picked Ewing or Drob if you were starting a team...The dream is def top 90s big man but Patrick Ewing was right there with anyone else you could name and the nikka wasn't taking no shyt either

This is true,who u study under does almost seem to guarantee you a job in the nba.....almost seems like those guys get more of a shot than college coaches,or either college coaches don't have much interest in coaching the nba....for the winning ones its kinda easy to see why.....but u would think a basketball coach would want to teach aand try his hand with the best players the world has to offer,and not a bunch of college kids if they had the chance......but its the same with football too....picking are slim in the nba for coaches
