the vikings were below 500 without AP last year. He comes back after a year layoff and they are an 11 win team. Of course hes not the sole reason why but he was the major catalyst for a 4 win improvement. He got shut down and coughed up a huge fumble Sunday. Still you cant discount a top defensive team keyed in on him and dared the vikings to throw it. Regardless the offense made enough plays to be in position to beat a red hot seahawks team that no one gave them a chance to beat had a chip shot field goal not been missed.

Anyway, it's been pretty much confirmed that the coaching staff had Teddy play a "game manager" role through interviews after the playoff loss. Said he wants to take the next step and I think he will. And you know what will happen?

Minnesota will be very good again, but people will look at AP and the defense, and do what they used to do to Russell Wilson.. "hes trash!! he only good cuz of lynch and the LOB i tell ya! game manager!!" When in reality, no.. It's a product of when a good organization drafts a good QB and ALSO has a good supporting cast. That's what the great franchises do.

I would rather have Teddy/Wilson as my QB and the great running game and D, and have trolls and idiots try to attack them, then root for.. let's say the Chargers. We all LOVE Rivers right? Slings it! So many passing yards!! How many wins though?

I'll take the success over people trying to troll my own team. It's something Viking fans have to get used to, just like the Seattle fans did. The NFC is going to be ran by Seattle, Carolina, Minnesota, Green Bay for the next few years and MAYBE Arizona depending on when Palmer declines.

Even Russell Wilson said they were "fortunate" in his post game interview. As a vikes fan thats taking nothing away from the hawks because they did what they had to win a road playoff game in sub zero weather.

Norv worked with Brees only in his rookie season in 2001 when Flutie was the starting QB. After that year it was Cam Cameron & Brian Schotty working with Brees for the remainder of his career in SD. How the hell are the 2 situations comparable?

And yes, come playoff time, you need your QB to at least be able to elevate his game to "great" levels if your goal is to advance and win, even if he's not considered a great QB. Eli is the prime example of this. If this ain't the case, your team is just spinning wheels with a bunch of 1 and dones. Have fun with that.

And ya'll scored 3 times before the Seahawks even mustered a point. The problem is ya'll scored 3 FGs because your QB cannot get ya'll into the end zone consistently enough. 1 TD out of 3 scoring opportunities & it's a much different ballgame. That wouldn't work against a division winner, much less the defending conference champ.

The better QB got his team into the end zone & that's why ya'll lost.

i feel like this thread is giving a pass to teddy "checkdown is my first and only read" bridgewater. he was hot garbage yesterday, always making the safe play and that's generally what he always does. y'all try shytting, unrighteously, on alex smith all the time yet teddy pulls the same bullshyt all the time. how do you finish with only 14 TDs in today's league while starting every game? how do you not get a TD per game in today's league.

Vikings o-line was shyt. Passing and rushing they were getting worked over by Seattle, but somehow it's Ap's fault for not breaking 10 yd runs with guys in the backfield, and it's Teddy's fault for having little time to throw.
