yall keep saying Steroids...but I can guarantee that each and every one of us has a few dudes on roids at our gyms...and they look nothing like Arnold.
That look takes a lot of hard work and good genetics.

No it isn't and if you saw arnold's aerobic workout vid from back in the day.
You would see what he really looked like off gear.

To be fair, Arnold had retired from bodybuilding competitively in 1976, like six years earlier than that, after having been training nonstop for 10 years. 1970s bodybuilders generally would only cycle twice a year, vs geared up cruising 24/7 like people nowadays, stayed in shape year round versus getting in "competition shape", didn't use GH, IGF-1, Insulin, etc, and were generally dosed way lighter than today. Part of it was that Arnold had an incredible natural physique, which no matter how hard you train won't change your muscle insertions, bone frame, et al.

Oh, I see I think you think arnold's competition physique is made from genetics is that what you mean.
Like Arnold won because he achieved what is thought impossible when it isn't.
Arnold, imo rowed shyt, and used mind muscle connection to hit the areas that propelled his physique past others.
Plus he never stopped lifting while others may have been just competitors back then.
Competing only for contest and not a stay ready guy like Arnold.

Imo rowing weight all year round when Arnold competed.
Imo, that is why he had the look he had outside of the other guys and still to this day others don't get that look he achieved and what arnold was doing.
Imo, I think Arnold was Arnold cause he rowed weight and others just pushed and pulled.

I don't mean his competition physique was just genetics, just that AAS adds on top of what you genetically already have in terms of insertions, bone structure, arm length, shoulder width, etc. I don't even think Arnold had the best overall physique among his contemporaries, Serge Nubret did, and possibly Frank Zane as well.

They just brought back "that look" as a competition category, e.g. classic physique:
