CeeDee is better cause he got 8 more catches and 42 more yards? Most TDs CeeDee has had in a season is 12 in 2023. Only double digit year.
Jamarr has gone for 13, 9, 7, and 17. The 7 was with Browning at QB for half the year after Burrow got hurt. 7 TDs is an average CeeDee season. It’s rock bottom for Jamarr.
CeeDee needs 8 catches to get to 120 and a TD. Jamarr can put up that same line with 3 or 4 touches.
Jamarr said “I’m always fukking open” and he scored 3 TDs the next week. I’m still waiting on CeeDee’s first Takeover game of his career.
I like CeeDee a lot, but if we’re keeping it a buck, he’s never getting a Triple Crown and he’s probably never having a moment like Jamarr’s one handed catch in the SB. CeeDee barely even shows up vs SF and GB when we need him. He had the one deep ball catch while falling down late in the 4th at SF in the 2023 playoff game. That’s the only time he’s ever popped in a meaningful game off the top of my head.
I’d love to be wrong and CeeDee comes out and duplicates/eclipses his 2023 season. But until I see it, it seems more outlier than his baseline.
