I guess I’m in the minority.

McCarthy took us to 3 straight 12-5 seasons (for the first time since the early 90s) despite having to deal with Jerry’s meddling. The reality is every coach prior to McCarthy has never made it past the divisional round. We gave hoe ass Garrett 10 opportunities (10 years) which amounted to only 3 strips to the post season (2014, 2016, 2018). McCarthy did that in half the time.

Yes the bar is low but who do you think is going to come in here and all of a sudden get us over the hump.

To make matters worse, we’re stuck with a fukkboy c00n that has a no trade clause for the next 4 years. How do you expect a HC to be successful when being handicapped by a senile owner and c00nery

Yes. Because what a QB who lacks mobility, accuracy, and has a below average OL with an unreliable at best defense needs more than anything is another outside weapon he’ll struggle to get the ball to.

Our local media is just as braindead as the front office.

They need to learn the meaning of marginal utility. Yes, the investment in a WR will help Dak. But if it will only slightly improve Dak's performance versus good defenses due to his low ceiling versus them, then is the investment worth it? Are resources better allocated elsewhere where we can yield larger returns?

The Voch Lombardis of the world want to give Dak more help so they can go back to the "fun times" - front-running against the NY Giants of the world.

Sane people acknowledge the diminishing returns of giving Dak more help b/c of the return we will get when he plays a defense w/ a pulse in the playoffs - nothing.

Seeing that video of Jerry's helicopter landing on the practice field this past season made me very very sympathetic of McCarthy. Almost all of his past transgressions w/ clock mgmt and discipline issues and lying about watching tape went out the window for me.

Glenn would galvanize the locker room.

Shedeur can muscle his way to us imo. It's about Dak, the contract, and the no-trade clause.

Cannot we not find a way to sabotage the Stripper. Like him fail a drugs test. Pay off the people who do the testing and swap it it for a Coli breh's urine who has Roids Coke Pills in their system. :hubie:

Just have to hope the urine isn't thermonuclear and breaks the test tubes.

We got so many holes, I would not be surprised if we trade down to get more picks. Say goodbye on jeantry, luther, egbuka for sure. Just forgot these fools traded a 4th for that imposter aj brown too.

Here's the thing about getting a coach

No decent to good to great coach will want to be under the Dak contract albatross

None will..not unless they get a 5-6 year contract for post Dak years

It's over. Dak contract put the franchise on the verge of ultimate collapse

Boyz are about to go down down

These same people saw how pathetic our offense was after trading for Amari, extending Gallup to a $70mil deal, and drafting CeeDee. Having all 3 on the roster and struggling to get to midfield vs competent teams.

And now they think the elixir is another WR :francis:

naw.. you arent. I think McCarthy was fine. I could have lived with McCarthy being rehired. He was just handicapped by the front office and the resigning of Dak. the team showed they were hella competitve with Cooper with McCarthy leading.
