I saw a stat that said Cooper Rush the only QB this year to complete 3 straight passes on a drive and it still be 4th down :dead:

I maintain caution with Stephen Jones. He's cheap and perhaps maybe a clown like his father. But his father still runs the show. Everything comes down to one Jerry Jones. Jerry has a charisma about him and that charisma, no matter how much of a pos he is, allows him a bit of leeway with the media and the fans. He uses that to get people to talk about his team and to get the fans to believe in them no matter how bad we are. He always remains optimistic for some reason.

Stephen doesn't have any of that charisma. He's dry, whiny, and boring. He will not be able to get away with what Jerry gets away with and he is hardly half the football man his father is supposed to be. If he has a bad first couple years, he won't be able to sell it like his father can.

I don't care what anyone says. I'm loving every minute of this. We all knew this could happen if they losses started to mount up and now that Dakota is gone, it's going to get worse to and it needs to happen. This franchise has been on this fraudulent belief that they are so close for too long and think they are too good to have bad times. Well here we are. Don't expect the next few seasons to get better. In fact, this year maybe the best of those seasons.

Speaking of Dak being gone, this is the third lower body injury in five seasons. He's missed time in every year since 2020. He will now be a statue back there when he comes back. Brilliant contract.
Dak is like Romo...good not great. They were paid big $$$$ to keep all the heat off Jerry and it's worked.

Dak is too heavy...same as Romo.

Tell me how Romo was 230+ lbs, Dak is around 240 lbs while Aikman looked bigger than both and only weighed like 228 lbs in his prime?

Dak isn't tubby like Romo was but breh been lifting weights too much. He has heavy legs and always looks like he's running in quicksand. Lamar is about 6'3" 215 lbs. Dak is 6'2"....he needs to get down to 220 or 225 lbs. He was never a burner but dropping extra weight will improve his short area quickness. Needs to take salsa lessons and train with Tyreek or Ashton Jeanty (since you know Jerry gonna draft AJ).

Romo only got tubby towards the end with the back issues. Probably couldn't work out as much
