Yeah after listening to both albums...the Dipset affilatates had the better one. JR Writer still can spit but he's not spitting at the level he was at during Dipset's prime. He barely uses his old flow...
Rell sounding as hungry as ever..he killed We Like That. I haven't heard 40 Cal in years man...this shyt is crazy.
Here's what needs to happen. They all need to make this group official and get Jimmy to join since he's keeping Dipset afloat, ditch Cam and Juelz. I hate to say it but them 2 nikkas are washed.

All I can say is that I've been rocking with The Upstage more than Diplomatic Ties. Good music is what it is. The Dips dropped the ball with that. They had their time and I respect the movement but very disappointed in that release- uninspired and nothing memorable imo. I'm a loyal fan for life and Cam is still my favorite, but they're time been passed and I'll just rock with the early stuff. Jim is the only one right now that has progressed and put effort. That one song with JR, Rell and 40....Resurrect... is on rotation, heavy, on my playlist. Upstage lived up to its name- this is what the Dips USED to sound like, the beats, production authentic ny and more impt authentic to their sound but updated- have to give them credit. I cant stop listening- even 40 Cal bodied this...
so facts.... smh... substitute some of the tracks that Jim/Cam had on Wasted Talent, delete all the Juelz verses except for On God and (just let him deal with whatever he needs to deal with to get himself right), give Jim the lead verses, Cam back up and make a compilation tape with Upstage- 40, Rell, A Mafia, JR and let Vado have a few collabos with Cam again...

JR Writer hasn't aged in looks. They did they're thing with this - they look good, dressed fly...like night and day compared to the core Dips.

K..its dope, they went hard. Jr didnt live up to his potential,he's underrated but he's been good with me as far as lyrical ability since that funk flex hot 97 freestyle from back in the day.JR Writer tho.
