According to a lot of the posters on a wrestling forum that I used to post on, Albert was was actually quite impressive in Japan. Obviously that didn't translate when he got back to WWE.
Giant Bernard was a classic old school strong man which meshed well with what they do in Japan. Add in the foreign monster gimmick and you’ve got a star. He should have never left, I think he would have eventually gotten a run with the IWGP title

Dude was absolutely awful and awkward to watch in the ring. Had a spark when he started in WWE with promos but his edgy promos in TNA were so cringey and bad

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
Would of worked if they got a wrestler who was believeble with the martial arts, could of been the American great muta but he was the shyts in the ring
Watching the CPU play as Glacier in WCW World
Tour was more entertaining than watching Glacier in real life on WCW Saturday Night

He was solid in Japan, the problem is by the time he got back to the WWE, his body and athleticism was shot. Plus, the theatrics in Japan just doesn’t translate to the general WWE audience. It just looked stupid. Also, they gave him an Asian slave, something he didn’t have in Japan.

The sheer shock and disappointment on my face when I saw that Glacier was one of the unlockable wrestlers in WCW/nWo World Tour. I think I was more excited when I unlocked Doug Dellinger, Head of WCW Security, in WCW Mayhem.

Chris Masters.

That first year, seemed like an old school muscle guy who would at least end up in a main event or two, maybe win the IC title or something... but when it was a wrap, it was a wrap.
