injecting someone into an intense and physical series and expecting them to perform with no experience or conditioning doesn’t seem like A recipe for success. Plus herro adds scoring but his defense isn’t a plus especially if he is guarding Murray. The heat can’t get into a shoot out with the nuggets and expect to win that is why Spo isn’t playing Duncan the way some heat fans are saying he should and I highly doubt herro is going to play 25-35 minutes his first night back in Denver
Except a shootout is basically the only way the Heat can win.
Yeah at this point, Miami has to rely on getting hot behind the three point line and hope for the best.
Denver has already illustrated they can beat Miami not playing their A game. If Denver actually plays well, the Heat have no shot(unless they get some rare 3 point shooting).

The problem is their best offensive line up is horrible defensively and if the nuggets get hot and they are a good three point shooting team that it is a bigger blowout

Miami has tried everything and Denver has answered the call
Their best offensive lineup still gives them a greater chance of winning.
And it’s not about just that lineup, it’s about what gives them a fighting chance. They don’t have the personnel to shut down Denver’s offense purely because they lack the size and athleticism, so it’s no good talking about what specific players hold them back defensively.
All-time great 3-pt shooting is the reason why the Heat have made it this far, so it makes no sense not to maximise that given their current situation.
Denver has stayed abusing everyone in this series. They’re not going to drag this series back trying to cover up all the holes they have on defense.
This has to be a morale move on Miami's part and just last week Herro mentioned that he was still experiencing swelling and discomfort in that broken hand, so I doubt he'd be able to give them much offensively.
