My choice for hottest actress in the 80s was Kelly Preston.
I watched Purple Rain and especially The Last Dragon many times growing up, so both Apollonia & Vanity are up there. Vanity was more pretty/beautiful but Apollonia was sexier and had a better body.

I'll give you this, her first appearance on TJ Hooker was like, damn who's that. She was on Dynasty around the same time, though Emma Sands was the it girl on that show. Her and Marcus Allen were a couple for a time.
