Only person who brings in these type of ratings is Tiger Woods. Only difference is people tune in to see Tiger win.

Hangin out the side of a train with a cave bytch on his arm, such audacity :wow:

damn we might need a whole thread about this dude. I started reading his book but couldnt get through it cuz it all sounded too outrageous lol. But seeing him hang out a train window with a snow bunny with that :win: smile makes me want to read it now. Now a movie about him would be great. But i'm sure white hollywood aint tryin to see that lol

:ohhh:

The next year, ratings for the Chicago Bulls-Utah Jazz series were slightly better, before the 1998 Finals blew away the 1993 record, averaging an 18.7 rating—one which will likely not be matched by the NBA Finals for the foreseeable future. The deciding Game 6 (and Michael Jordan's final game with the Bulls) registered an NBA record 22.3 rating with a 38 share. The game was viewed by 72 million people, breaking the record set earlier that postseason by Game 7 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers and the Bulls (that same game set a record for highest-rated non-Finals NBA game with a 19.1/33). The 1998 Finals managed to best the ratings for that year's World Series, the first of only three NBA Finals ever to do so.

The most watched game since then is the Lakers/Celtics Game 7, and that only did 28.2 million.

Those Jordan numbers are never gonna be topped.

He did that shyt in the 1900-1910s, one of the worst decade for blacks in the US.
Lynchings were at an all-time high during those days and the KKK was mainstream.

Here's what the LA Times had to say after he KO'd that white dude in the "fight of the century"...
A word to the black man
Do not point your nose too high
Do not swell your chest too much
Do not boast too loudly
Do not be puffed up
Let not your ambition be inordinate
Or take a wrong direction
Remember you have done nothing at all
You are just the same member of society you were last week
You are on no higher plane
Deserve no new consideration
And will get none
No man will think a bit higher of you
Because your complexion is the same
Of that of the victor at Reno

--Los Angeles times July 5, 1910
