Woulda added context. Heat is the GOAT crime drama btw. De Niro vs Pacino, the cast, the M.Mann cinematography, the LA backdrop, shootout scenes. There's an underlined sexiness to the movie too.

If I had one gripe though, it would be De Niro going back for Waingro. I never liked that. His character was extremely disciplined the entire movie ( and apparently,his entire criminal life). I don't buy that he would have had a moment of weakness then.
BTW, De Niro should have won the Oscar that year. I think he showed who was the superior actor between him and Pacino too.
