Because people feel like they have to compete with you.
Im intensely enjoying these posts of yours.Oh I agree, it's just that the super-fit folks are much more vocal, they tend to evangelize their health/fitness to absolutely anyone, and they seem to use vinegar more often than they use honey.
The fat folks get annoyed and disheartened by that so they have to double-down. But the more resistant they become to the evangelicalism, the more the health nuts feel compelled to bother them.
The humble folks in the middle usually aren't on the super-fit folks' level and are too considerate to give the fat fux the tough love they need to make the change. They're not really helping anyone.
Anything that’s different than a what’s normal for a given person is met with skepticism and a side eye.
People who are very health conscience do the same thing to people they perceive not to be as healthy, I’ve seen it here with certain posters.
If you want to work out, be picky about your diet, and extremely fit that’s fine, if someone else wants to pork rinds and not be as healthy as you that’s their prerogative as well. It works both ways
I’ve seen BOTH sides get overly self righteous.

Basically im an advocate for minding your business because you can’t help somebody more than they wanna help themselves.
And being a butthole just makes it worse.
Lol! What I’m saying is that there should be balance.
I don’t like people who fat or body shame.
But I also think extreme “body positivity” can lead to some people becoming downright belligerent if people try to clean up their health habits.
Both extremes seem crazy to me. Like those who were trying to insult Adele for losing weight.
Somewhere in between aggravating people about every calorie they put in their mouths, and insulting people as health nuts, tree-huggers, or switching up just because they decide to get a salad instead of fries at dinner…is that elusive common sense.
You need to save us all. One of the best posters on this site!I like the idea of body neutrality more than body positivity. Drop so much of the focus on appearance and more on how your body feels. A lot of 'body posi' people are too busy defending their identity to actually find ways to feel good in the body they have. You take out the argumentative nature of having to be 'positive' to something that's automatically being framed as negative (fitness) and it becomes a little easier to approach body movement and maintenance. .
