amnestying him does nothing gotta trade for a contract with similar money per year for less years overall. It opens up slightly higher than MLE money if we amnestied him now. If KG was interested in a 2 yr deal for 12 million i would go the amnesty route right now.

i would consider a deng for gay swap(more money would need to be added but it helps both teams imo) and we would have a starting PG slot available for nash and billups or others. John Jenkins could be a guy we add for additional shooting thru the draft.

for the year he was better statistically on one said of the ball but of course i would have taken KG just based off the contract. As an overall player a healthy Deng is a better player but in terms of what we need Pierce fits better the issue was his contract. I was a supporter of getting both later in the year when that rumor popped up.

I asked my buddy to get more info on Boozer and he shot me a text earlier. To recap what I said last night, was that we weren't shopping Boozer but would listen to offers. He followed up today saying that Boozer will either be a Bull or Magic. His % was 75% a Bull but don't rule out Orlando.

Same thing Orlando insiders have been saying the past year. Dwight has Boozer on his list and Orlando could try to get him

When do the Olympic games start?

If the Bulls get knocked out now, and Deng got surgery right after the season ended. How much time would that be for him to rest/recover?

I think I remember it being a 2-3 month process for the recovery if surgery was the option. Not sure when the Olympics start though. Also, I read Luol's injury can heal by itself with time.

Yeah, just checked and the London Olympics start on July 27. Luol definitely ain't gonna get the surgery done after the season then.
