Then Deng's ass is planning on playing in the Olympics, so he'll be out once he gets surgery after that. So this team is going to be rolling with their current roster, without Rose and Deng to start the season. Then it's not like Rose is going to come back and just start beasting.
The FO will get their first real test this offseason. Are you confident they can put out a good team without Rose? I'm not. That first pick of that draft saved a lot of jobs in that front office.

the earliest rose returns is mid January or February look we need luck who doesnt to win in this league my beef with them is their philosophy and their falling in love with their players which stops trades. The draft is the least of my worries with the bulls.

Sadly imo only way we're ever gonna win a championship is if we can get D-Rose another superstar. Trading for Ellis wouldn't have helped us beat Miami. I like Ellis but he would get eaten alive by Wade every year. If Howard wasn't such an idiot he'd be a Bull.

You know how Thibs likes going all out for the regular season. There's no way were gonna miss out on the playoffs next year, but I think it's still kind of way too early to project what seed we're gonna be... I see a lot of teams going to major changes in the offseason.
Delonte West would look great on this squad...
Ellis wouldn't have to guard Wade.
They would slid Ellis on their PG, and have Rose defend Wade.
