One thing I learned over 20 years ago, is when my dad said “ yeah yeah the salary u make is good, but the number 1 priority is the health benefits and checking to see how much it will cover when u work for a company “

My youngest son was a million dollar baby at 2.5 months. shyt is infuriating what hospitals charge. That said, big ups to Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

I saw a meme that said we just have to convince Americans that $4,000 in taxes is better than $10,000 in health insurance.

But my fellow Americans are clinically retarded.

:manny:
My job offers Cigna. 9K for my family.
:picard:
I pay $275ish a month for TriCare instead.
:wow:
You think my job would give me a 10k pay bump because they don’t have to pay for my insurance?
:childplease:
Health care is already a hidden tax. Medicare for all, negotiate with big pharma to bring these drugs down to what Mexicans and Canadians pay, and make the rates these hospitals charge fair.

Get it done Trump.

The final bill

The hospital charged $19,206 for the procedure, including physician fees. After the insurer negotiated discounts and paid $1,979, Contos was on the hook for $4,047. With the $1,000 he paid upfront, plus $1,381 after the procedure, he still owed $1,666.

Rage baring title.

And I don’t really see the issue here. He probably hasn’t met his deductible or out of pocket max. At least the insurance is covering their portion.

I have an 350k medical bill that my insurance is probably not going to pay….. Guess what, neither am I.
