I love XBMC myself but not everybody wants to get down like that with their pc's and macs. the majority love simplicity
It's simple to me, have a list of favorite shows set up and they update within 30-60 minutes of the show ending.
I use Simply movies and 1 channel plugins, even my lady has figured out how to use it.

I agree.. I have Navi X and 1 Channel plugins myself but it did take me a minute to connect it all up and I know the majority aren't down for that type of sh*t no matter what. Its like console gaming vs pc gaming. people just want to plug in and play. f*ck configuration settings and what specs you have

But yeah, if Netflix continues to bolster up their original programming over the next few years they'll be fine. I was just throwing it out there, but say down the line Amazon throws hella bread at HBO to basically offer what's being offered on HBOGo and say fukk the cable companies.

I think there's room for both HBO and Netflix if you ask me. Just like you have ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS and so on. in the future there's gonna be HBO, Netflix, Amazon Prime and two or three other streaming networks in the frey.. But Hbo go is not promoting their catalog, they focus on currentHBOGO itself doesn't even have tales from the crypt yet..
The amazon deal is for the catalog, hence the emphasis of 3 year wait
hbo has 30 years of original programming from shows, stand up and original movies...if amazon has a fraction if their content it's going to be a coupe for them
