The Sensational Prince
Good. Leave well enough alone!
It's hard to pull that off with a show about normal people. I can't think of a drama that has successfully pulled this off....
I bet when Simon called hbo telling them he wanted to pitch a wire spin off they was like
Then he came in talking bout the show being about Carcetti and politics and them nikkas was like

It's the best example, even though Don Draper leads anything but an ordinary life.
The story behind his past isn't normal I agree, but being a big shot businessman, womanizer, semi alcoholic, divorcé in the 60's doesn't really involve a stretch of the imagination.
I dont think a spinoff would be a good idea...but i can't agree with any of this shyt.Yeah the political shyt in the wire was boring along with the newspaper shyt. The politics shyt was god awful in season 3 but got a little better in season 4 when Norman came along. The dude who played Carcetti just wasn't a good fit for the role.
.a spinoff focused on the schools/kids woulda been piff..
Treme had promise (still not as bad as john in cincinnati) but it's run its course. Im ready to see another crime series set in modern day though, or take a chance on sci-fi, Hell even a wall street type series on some gordon gecko type shyt. I hate that they pulled the plug on how to make it in america though.
Damn, was I the only one who liked Carcetti?
I always wondered why they never do shows about finance/trading/banking.
You got legal shows (Suits, Boston Legal, Franklin & Bash), cop shows (Law & Order, Common Law), doctor shows (Grey's Anatomy, ER), fire fighter shows (Rescue Me). shyts weird.
The actor that played Carcetti annoyed me, so I'm glad they passed on this.
then you must hate that nikka in game of thrones
