Since the fam are AT&T subscribers it's nice to get all this extra shyt, but it still piss me off low key that so much of their anime (maybe even all of it, aint looked to close) is dubbed only. You get used to that Netflix and Crunchyroll etc stuff where you mostly have the option, and HBO don't fukk with that

Since Nvidia sent me a replacement Shield TV for free and Amex paid out for the broken one I bought a 2nd Shield TV and can have HBO Max on both my TVs now. Don't really need the Roku anymore.

I know I'm being selfish, but HBO Max been good to a nikka:hubie:I don't have the Roku or Apple issues so I, selfishly, don't care. I watched Ad Astra the other week and just started the Director's Cut of Doctor Sleep just now. A new streaming service shouldn't have this caliber of piff available at launch. It can't be understated how much having HBO be a part of this is such a huge headstart. They'll iron out the kinks in time, but I'm getting my money's worth.

I get it for free, doe:unimpressed:

This weeks Bossa Nova picks (showgirls won't be ready until July 1st)

n -called The Getaway on HBo, just type in Aaron paul
-*resists urge to put a Michael J fox movie in every weekly post*
- Colin Farrell is a much better actor when he doesn't have to do an American Accent
- John Candy and Richard Lewis, hilarity ensues

Honorable Mentions
- you know Resse aint showing nothing

The Shield is still one of the most slept-on devices - mine is the OG no internal HD one from 2015 and shyt still working great and getting them updates - ain't got a 4K or OLED setup yet tho. And good to hear they're making that DR SLEEP director's cut more widely available - so much better than the theatrical

Bout to hurry up and rewatch Samurai Jack before they pull it and/or redub Phil LaMarr's voice. :francis:
