HBO Max leaves out 70% of the entire streaming market. If you like this service and want it to succeed that can't be good for the future of the platform. The fact that they would even launch it in this state suggests that leadership is questionable. Disney+ is putting up crazy numbers and HBO Max is already having its buzz from launch die out. Thing is Disney+ isn't even as good as Max. Disney+ day 1 had 4 million users. Quibi which basically flopped had 300,000. HBO Max had 90,000.

You're comparing services that didn't exist to a service that did exist.. but expanded. This is an HBO expansion. The 90,000 first day number is new sign ups not total subs.

HBO Max didn't exist. Many of us get it for free due to HBO but Max is new. That app was new and that wasn't sign ups it was downloads of a new app that was unavailable until that first day.

Max is a flop on arrival, the lack of roku and fire tv apps hurt them in a bad way. The numbers would be a lot higher bc all the HBO now apps would have converted

It runs like shyt on my ps4, a shame bc I heard the bitrate was really high compared to Now

I literally haven't even checked for the app on my devices, let alone use it I'm glad I didn't/don't pay for it based on the reviews in here

if you were subscribing to HBO package then MAX would work for you, so just call them up and have them to refund you for the MAX you ordered and get that straight.
