Anyone else watching The Watchman animated series? I thought it was the other one they have on Max. This is a fully animated version. They have broken it up into chapters. Just wrapped up the first episode. If you like The Watchmen I recommend it

First chapter was great, I couldn’t find anything wrong with it.

The ending credits were great. Chapter 2 is going to be great

Nothing against the LGBT movement, but Jamaican homophobia is already a central element of the show from the first moment.

8 minutes in, SMH. The male partner has a male "partner". They really don't want to Yardies to watch this.

I guess this is the story the want to tell. Not like a local production would get made with this topic. (I could be wrong though, maybe the climate has changed)

I'll watch the rest of the episode, cause it's already giving prestige TV vibes in terms of tone and direction.

I learned a long time ago, reading the book, that there’s no way to make the Dune series exciting while telling the actual story lol. You either refuse to watch or thug your way through to the credits because you love the lore, no in between

Dune is just a twist on Foundation where they take the spice planet and make it the point of the story instead if just The Empire. Still same massive story.

Only when they turned it into Star wars does it begat mass appeal, then they just made it corny.
