:francis:The biggest streaming device

if not for this, would be on it a little more. its just a baffling release. HBO still getting paid though. I am still using HBOGo as others are still using NOW on their streaming devices unless its something on MAX exclusively, then will use Chromecast.

Only thing this is missing, that aggravates me, is a Skip Intro/Recap button. It wasn't on HBO Go either.

They need a shuffle for series though. Sometimes I just wanna watch Curb, but I don't want to pick out specific episodes. Just let me shuffle the series.

Who owns Tales from the Crypt?

I desperately want to binge that joint.

If it's HBO that owns the streaming rights, then it's baffling why they don't have it on there:gucci:

The rights are all kinds of complicated. As far as I can remember it's never been part of if HBO Go/Now, and was never even on demand.

Part of the problem is that the show is based on an old comic series with complicated rights, and apparently the rights for the Cryptkeeper are all kinds of messed up too. They were supposed to launch a new series on TNT a few years back and had to scrap it because of all that.

I wish they'd get it figured out, though. I used to absolutely love the show, and that's based off the shytty syndicated version.

They got the new and old powerpuff girls on here but they’re both titled the exact same. Not even a (2017) tag or whatever year. New one was trash anyway.

But I didn’t see the new dexters lab only the old one. That’s fine too.

I mean, at this rate streaming has effectively become cable all over again, right? Wouldn't surprise me if DirecTV and other TV services just decide to repurpose themselves as streaming service bundlers to bring it all back to square one lol.

IVE HAD DIRECT TVS STREAMING SERVICE FOR YEARS...

IT WAS CALLED DIRECT TV NOW...
RECENTLY CHANGED ITS NAME TO ATT TV.

And they are in the process of getting rid of the full streaming version of it (ATT TV Now). A full streaming service isn't profitable for the cable companies. The price points are too low, the customers can leave whenever they want, etc. AT&T TV (not ATT TV Now) requires you to purchase a set top box and sign a two year contract. It's a stupid and dated model but ATT is convinced this is the only way to make money. It takes 26 months for to break even on a new customer to the service. Their only hope is to get you to bundle with internet and/or phone and get you to stay on contract for as long as possible.

I say all this because I was a lead strategist for AT&T Tv. It's a shytty product and I hated everything from the name to the pricing structure. But big corporate AT&T wasn't tryna hear anything from people like me.

Here's an article on the ATT TV/Tv Now differences: AT&T TV vs. AT&T TV Now: What's the Difference? - Clark Howard

I can't speak on HBO Max tho, I wasn't on that team and I haven't even checked it out yet.
