Yea that article is before John Witherspoon died. That article is almost a year old. That's the last time we heard anything boondocks related. I'm asking if yall know if it's still coming back or not?
Is there anything about it not coming back?:dwillhuh:There's a pandemic, I'm sure production has stalled.

if they got all the voice recording done, and there's no reason to think they didn't based on how animation works, then all thats left to do is animate and most animation studios are still going right now since cats can work from home and do all that digitally

I factored the animation aspect in, but who knows how Witherspoon's passing affected things if voice work wasn't done? There were only a handful of months between the announcement and his death. Not to mention it wasn't announced with a release date, as far as I'm aware.

Regardless, I'm just not sure what homie was expecting. They've mentioned the series, in general, in their marketing for HBOMax. If the new seasons of the show were cancelled, they would have announced it:skip:

they start recording stuff way before an announcement happens thats why im leaning towards most of it being done. I could be wrong but thats just knowing how press releases work and shyt like that. shows start being worked on months in advance before we know they're real

and yeah you're right to the last point. if they haven't announced its cancelled, its still a thing:russ:
