Hbo really showed all these networks how to properly transition into a new platform.

Hbo max really is the shyt
Y'all ignoring the abysmal launch is like jordan stans ignoring everything before and after the title years. It was 95 Kenny Anderson steals the ball level launch.

Hopefully post Judas we get a string of good movies and round into 2nd 3 peat form

They launched without the 2 top streaming devices and didn't have the #1 device(Roku)for 7 months. They've still yet to have a flagship new series. (Word to The Mandalorian)(Flight Attendant was popular and I liked it though). Their first 2 day and date movie launches were panned by fans and critics.

Plus the activations were abysmally low before WW84 news. Let alone subs.

I'm not gonna give overboard with the stanning like some of y'all when most of this stuff was on HBOGo before this.

I'm excited for the future though and have been watching a lot of old movies on their this week. The catalog is fire. And I'm there day 1 for almost all 2021 day and date movies.

:rudy: i don't know anyone with a roku

secondly, numbers aint nothing to me. HBO Max has always had superiour content...Disney might have bigger subs but they don't match HBO program for program, even when it first started

Been eating good off of Max’s library. Maybe a little too good to the point where it’s overwhelming, but perhaps that’s just my streaming fatigue kicking in.

I’m just waiting on them to add 4K to their flagship titles. Glad they offer it with the theatrical releases but if shows could get the same treatment then that would be huge. I think they’re planning some kind of subscription plan rollout before it gets added though.

And I’m so over how the launch went at this point. They get the benefit of the doubt launching during a pandemic. Most of the complaints I see on various forums are ridiculous and make me feel like I’m working IT help desk. Saw one poster complain about how the clicking noise in the menu is too loud and needs to be fixed.

Turn your volume down. :mjtf:
