These people get paid what they do for a reason. The increased subs as a result of the pandemic will lessen the impact of not having the theaters and using HBO Max as a way to recoup the movie revenue is a good temporary idea until this pandemic gets under control. The dude running Warner Media, Jason Killar, was the CEO of Hulu and an Amazon exec. He obviously gets it. And has said that it's what they have to do short term. No long term committment and decision can't and won't be made until they see the landscape of shyt later this year. Using common sense...what a novel concept

Yeah, this is a good way to get people into the eco-system by this time next year if everything is back to normal they can slowly add in more original content (which HBO is already king of anyway) and more tv shows/anime/movies

While it was a pretty good twist, I wasn't entirely surprised with it being mostly dramatic reenactments instead of a pure documentary. The opening scene with her playing him on jumping of the high dive platform stuck with me as the fukkery kept happening, since the symbolism felt a little too spot on. That, and him just letting the other guy say he wasn't a real director to his face seemed unrealistic. Either way, even with him adding the stuff at the end showing him being an a$$hole, he still played himself hard going along with this shyt.
True but the combination of the HBO and Warner Bros. libraries was going to be a success period unless they were to somehow self sabotage themselves in any form or fashion
