Stop living in the past. That era is over. Cable is dying a slow, undignified death outside of sporting events.

I think you're severely underestimating the number of people that still have cable. Cable isn't dying any kind of death. If anything they're just milking it even further. The youth that stream don't come close to the numbers of paying older folks that pay for cable. The projection is that every media conglomerate has it's own streaming service. Well multiply it by the number of entities, times let's say $12, then put a cap on the amount of content, and you make out much worst than cable.

Saying that cable is dying is saying that live TV is dying. Live TV will always have a place, because you can never replicate the human connection of everyone watching something at the same time. Even with the internet news, news-related shows are still on TV more than ever.

Had to look at the date on this topic. Aint nobody looking for HBO movies on Saturday Nights anymore.

Its too many options and ways to watch movies and they hit digital quicker than cable. Original programming is where HBO's focus is now. Cable companies losing too much money to try and buy the rights and premier movies that people can see elsewhere months in advance.

Bout to check out Shazam now

edit --

:obama: After Wonder Woman the best DC movie imo. Wasn't trying to do too much to soon. Definitely felt like Harry Potter meets Big.

Brandon Routh would have made that cameo at the end.

:sas2:

Although Gal Gadot would have been the best cameo.

Between Universal and Warner Bros they have enough piff films imo. I think they are still getting FOX films up to 2022 too.

Also Crazy, Stupid, Love is a dope movie for it's genre and can probably boost the confidence of any dude watching.
