I think Mania doesn't need to become NostalgiaFest.
I like the fact that it brings out people like Rock, Taker, HHH to wrestle... I like that of course Brock will be there next year... but filling up the top of the card with wrestlers from the past every year will make it impossible for anyone new to break thru unless the older dudes are actually gonna put someone over. Taker doesn't have to, cause The Streak shouldn't be about giving some midcarder a rub. But these dudes like Rock, HHH, Austin, HBK, Lesnar... unless they're coming back to wrestle each other, they ain't layin' down for anyone newer. Not a single one of them nor Taker would do the job for Bryan, Punk, Barrett, Ziggler, or anyone else who needs to be established as a top CURRENT star. Their involvement is always a draw, but bringing them out every year is doing nothing for the other 11 months that they're not on TV. And other people from that era are still around too, but they aren't of the same magnitude. Jericho would put someone over, but he'll put anyone over... Foley putting someone over doesn't have the same value it once did... Kane's still around but he's just there... so all these other major stars, I don't think they need to stay gone, but all coming back for one show only works out for them at the end of the day.

I agree with this, and those guys need to. Give back to the business by building a new star.

I agree with you about Jericho, Angle, and the child murderer but he carried Taker in those last two matches.
But it's no coincidence Jericho, Angle, and the Child Murderer had arguably the best matches of there career with HBK in the ring
