I remember Bret telling HBK he was going to give him the "worst pounding of his life" or something of that nature before. 
HBK could have drank a soda and burped and it would've been more entertaining. Bret is an all-time great in-ring performer with some cool sunglasses, but no mic skills.

And that's why i'm glad in retrospect, the internet wasn't poppin like THAT back in 97 as far as backstage news is concerned. For the most part, we didn't know how HUGE the heat was between the two which made the fued THAT much better

The Undertaker-HBK feud was great but led to HBK's back injury
which actually was blessing in disguise for him in and out the ring. He got take time off and get his sh!t together and it allowed Austin and Rock to get elevated w/o having to go over HBK (Austin did at WM, but you know what i mean) to do it. Would of been hell trying to book those three in 98-00.
