We are a top 5 defense as it is right now with Horford and Smith. Jenkins and Korver are good team defenders, Teague is a very good man defender and we know what Josh and Dwight do on defense. We would run our offense around Dwight like it was in Orlando and just shoot threes when teams double down. The issue is Smith has to stay within 18. He is a good shooter within 18 but Smith is in love with taking jumpers from 23 and beyond which isI like it, but we not going further than we have...The championship teams of the past 10 years all have a 4 that can hit the midrange. With this trade, we would have 14 million tied up in 2013-14. We can resign Dwight and Josh. We can either resign Teague or sign another PG like Jennings or CP3. We could also add a number of role players. We also have two 1st rounders in the draft. We have a number of options. While trading Horford is stupid, if we can't get the PnR PG for Horford, holding on to him might not be fully worth it.
