:russ: fukking nonsense.

Heres a story that happened to me. I was 10 and I took a plastic cup and drank some water or juice or something i dont remember what exactly but after i drank it the cup slipped from my hand and made exactly one sound of plastic hitting the ground. I was like :patrice:da fukk, so i look down and i cant find the cup anywhere, shyt disappeared:dwillhuh:. My kitchen was pretty small there was nowhere the cup could possibly have gone, nowhere to hide but that shyt was just gone.

I NEVER REALLY THOUGHT OF IT, BUT I WOULDNT BE SURPISED? U A LAKER FAN?

not particularly , but i am a fan of the GOAT and have admiration for the level that GOATs take it to in order to be in that top 1%. GOATs employ out of the box tactics to expand their skills and Kobe, because of his personality and his proximity to Phil, seems like the type of dude to experiment with psychadelics to get closer to the game

I tried this once last year. Floating, it was called. Get completely naked and lay in a shallow pool of water inundated with salt so you do nothing but float. It was in a small rectangular room in a wall, only big enough to lay in. Pitch black and completely silent because of earplugs. Lasted 90 minutes. Strange experience indeed and although I knew I was in the dark anyway, I kept my eyes closed the entire time because I was afraid of what I would see.

this shyt is awesome. my girls got a lotta mental issues and ive been begging her to try this for the longest, but shes worried about it fukking up her hair :francis:

this has helped me out immensely in a lot of areas in my life. if i could afford to do it daily, i would. doing this is like investing into a mental 401k.

those hours, or even a full day, after you come out of the tank with NO internal monologue at all and you're literally just living:feedme: better than any drug

:ehh:

An apartment I lived in had the spirit of a little girl in it. I've told many stories about the apartment here before. Although I never saw her, many others did. I did witness many of her actions.
Also I'm Dominican and have heard countless stories about witches who turn into other animals. I've never seen that but being out there alone in the middle of nowhere at night is not a happy feeling

Not reality, but definitely widely held "truths" I've uncovered as lies. Especially in the world of entertainment, most artists fabricate everything from their names to ages, ethnicity, etc.

I went down a Google rabbit hole and think I found an artist fabricating a whole relationship and child that do not exist.

So interesting to speak to someone who floats consistently as part of a self-care regime. How long have you been doing it? How do you approach your sessions? Have you had any "strange" experiences while floating?

I only did it once and could immediately tell it was going to be a fight of wills to stay in the dark for 90 minutes once those lights went out. I can't remember what I was thinking about all that time but it was a surprise when I got the alert my 90 minutes were up because you lose sense of time.

I haven't had the nerve to try it again but if I knew how to better approach it mentally, maybe I could get something out of it next time.

Man I can talk about this all day. I''m gonna post a lot . here goes: I have been doing it for about 2 years but prior to this year I was just going sporadically. At the beginning of this year I made it a point to go at least 1x a week. When I first started going I would try to go with a goal in mind, like some shyt to think about or 'think through', and hope to sort it out out...if that makes sense. I would have some sort of expectations...but that never or rarely works. I was really focused on hoping that it would ultimately help me creatively since I've been experiencing a huge block in that part of my life. I just go now and focus on my breathing and let whatever thoughts kinda come and go.

I've came away from a few sessions with some really insightful stuff that has carried into my day-to-day life. Unfortunately I'm not disciplined enough to consistently apply what i've 'learned' day-to-day and I usually fall back into old/bad habits eventually. but the goal right now is to make those gaps between falling back into old/bad habits bigger. One of those insights I've had - back to hoping that it'll help me creatively - was that nothing's just going to magically appear and help me be creative, I can't wait for some big inspiration or miracle, I just literally have to do the work as much as possible. I've also had some sessions where I came out of there on cloud 9 and the feeling lasted days. But I've also had some sessions where I came out almost just as frustrated as I did coming in. It's a dice roll really, but if I had any advice I'd just say to try to do it as often or consistant as you can with no expectations and see what happens. At the very least, besides your wallet, it's not going to hurt anything

Just the benefit of literally shutting down and turning off is priceless though. These days you have to really go out of your way to disconnect, and this kinda takes it to the extreme and forces you to do it. No phone, no alerts, no getting bombarded with random info. There's so much noise in life today, it's really fukkin crazy and IMO it's not normal. This helps you quiet it down for 90 minutes at least, and hopefully you can take that sense of peace and bring it into your day to day life. For example one thing is I hate to ride the subway. I get frustrated with the people, the delays, the failures of the MTA..then I start getting into thinking about moving and how shytty NYC is. But I come out of a float and have to take the train home and im not thinking about anything.. just enjoying being alive

It's not for everyone. the actual physical aspect of it turns a lot of people off. getting naked. the dark. i swear sometimes it's so quiet you can hear your blood move. having to shower at the place. most of the time those places are staffed with good people but lets be real they're all weirdos and can be kinda off putting. but once you get over all of that little shyt and move past it, it's totally worth it

Speaking of shyt not to fukk with. Back in the MySpace days, I left a comment on Sophia Stewart’s (the woman that claims she wrote the screenplays for The Matrix and Terminator and that Neo and John Connor are the same character) page about an experience I had and she replied asking for my phone number.

She called and we talked for hours. She told me about the different types of beings on this planet and how there are drones among us. “People” that think they’re human, but have no souls. They were created. She said they become serial killers, etc. because they have no emotions. That was just one type we talked about.

Where things got too much for me is she wanted us to meet after a few conversations so she could “open” my third eye... physically. She said I’d see things that may drive me insane, but if I could stand it, there would be “more” to learn. It was the Morpheus and Neo moment. I declined and she stopped responding to me not long after. I wasn’t with the possibility of losing my mind. I think she knows some shyt...

Damn. What an evil bytch. Human eaters. At least she gave you the warning. She could’ve tried to lure you in.

That wasn’t a dog. Whatever it was, was in disguise.

those are jinn

Not much to tell. I use to work reception and there was an old white lady who came in all the time with her adopted Asian daughter. She was weird but there was nothing over the top.

One day I was checking her out and making her a new appointment. I asked her something along the lines of "When would you like to make your next appointment?"

Instead of answering, she leaned in really close and began to smile very slowly. As she did, her eyes started to change. They started to become very dark; black. Her mouth widened and her teeth sharpened.
It was very fast. Almost like a trick of the eye but I literally felt fear run through my whole body.

I jumped back from the counter with the WTF face. And she just continued leaning in quietly, smiling, and shaking her head ever so slightly as if to say "yeah you saw it. fukked your whole day up huh."

She finally answered the question like nothing happened. I was so shook trying to book her shyt. I avoided her every other time I saw her after that.
This is crazy because I’m 100% sure it’s true.

There are so many demons among us. It’s unreal.
