I played against daniel gibson in AAU. He was by far the best player I've ever seen. I for sure thought that he would beast in the league on some Kobe ish. I look at him now like :what: How could somebody so talented be a scrub in the NBA.

Oh I also played against Kenny Smith (The Jet) in a 3 on 3 tournament. :wow: he really lived up to his nickname even after being retired. My mind couldn't process how good he was and he was old. I knew then that it was impossible to make to the NBA

I bought a Carbon 15 when I was 18
In my sophmore year during the lockout, Sean Smith the doplhins corner came to one of our spring training sesions and he gave all the DBs on the team tips and he let me jam him in the chest as hard as I could.

Played against Greg Oden, mike connely, Eric Gordon and josh mcroberts during my senior year of high school and AAU games. Everybody was talking about Greg Oden when we moved there. I had no idea who he was. We lost but he scored like 12 points against us. Never was impressed with this nikka

In my experiences with playing against NBA players, it's the PG's that have you on some:krs: shyt when you witness them live.

I've had 3 run in's with NBA players

Two pg's and one center. One of the PG's would be consider a "scrub" by NBA standards. The other PG was just old as shyt. And the center was considered a scrub when he played, plus he was kinda older.

One of the PG's was Jacque Vaughn.I played against him one summer at Balboa Park when I was living in San Diego back in '02.I was about 15-16 at the time.Balboa Park was known for having some of the best street ballers/pick up games in San Diego.

Needless to say, Jacque Vaughn came out there and dominated.Nobody could stay in front of him.His speed, strength, and court vision was:whoo: in person.I actually got to run on his squad one game.He hit me with some lovely passes out in transition.I felt like I was out there running the break with Magic

The other PG I ran into at that same park was this old dude named Michael Adams. He used to play for the Nuggets in the mid 80's.He wasn't necessarily a "scrub", but he was old as shyt.He wasn't that big.I actually had him by a few inches

Needless to say, he got out there and stomped a mud hole in nikkaz asses. His first step and his quickness had dudes on some :leon::wow: type shyt.He was getting to the hole at will and angling his lay ups high up off the glass like a prime Allen Iverson. It was some circus shyt.It got to the point where half the dudes on my squad just said "fukk it" and just started spectating instead trying to stop the bleeding. The ass bleeding because he was raping dudes out there.I felt extremely doubtful about my NBA potential after that.

The last dude I played against was ex Phoenix Suns scrub Center, Mark West. That was like in '05-'06.....I was out visiting some fam in Phoenix and me and my cousin decided to go ball at the LA fitness(muthafukkas didn't want to let me in, but my cousin had a membership and raised all types of hell to get me in) right down the street from his house.

When I spotted Mark West, I'm like "this old scrub ass nikka":pachaha:

Needless to say, when we got on the court with dude, we couldn't do nothing with him.

He might've been a "scrub" in the NBA, but at LA Fitness, his old ass was Shaq laced with the super soldier serum. He was drop stepping and hammering on muthafukkas.I don't even know why he was out there?

I remember thinking...

"If Mark West is out here gorging on nikkas, I can't imagine what it would like trying to guard Hakeem Olajuwon?" :sadcam:

Bout to really show my age....

Freshman yr I played at Valdosta High w/ Kareem Wilson (total unknown to y'all if you didn't follow Ohio Univ football but he use to hold the NCAA record for rushing TDs by a QB) but we played against Quincy Carter's SW Dekalb team...anyone from GA who followed HS football knows that squad is probably the GOAT GA HS squad...RB was the defending state 100m champ, his 4 WRs were the state champs in 4x100...had like 6-7 D1 players on that squad...we beat'em in OT

Played HS b-ball with Carlos Hall who played for the Razorbacks and then w/ the Titans & Chiefs

Hooped against El-Amin and a bunch of other scrub ass NBA players who played in Euro leagues

Christ the King..i played at Holy Cross and we had Willie Dersch who went to Virgnia and was ny state player of the year at the time..Odom took a shyt on him

Okay.. I remember Dersch he was nice...

I played against Christ the King in a tourney in Cali and they were loaded.... They had Odom, Speedy Claxton, Eric Barkley and a couple of other future D1 players...

Them and St. Raymonds always had the quickest guards...
