Have you ever noticed that King of the Hill and Beavis and Butthead had no black folks? :mjpls:

I also dont doubt that the Jon Redcorn character is suppose to be black but Fox must of hit Mike Judge with the :whoa: when he brought it to them

The entire John redcorn / Nancy gribble/joseph gribble dynamic would've not made sense at all.

A half black half white male child would have even more prominent features than a half white have native American kid. It would be nearly impossible for them to skate around the issue of joseph not being dales son and Dale not knowing even though it was often in plain sight.

Didn’t the same guy create Daria? That was one of the few cartoons that dealt with race and representation in a realistic manner.

Bobby Trill. The best dysfunctional Son since Bart Simpson.

Mike Judge created the character of Daria on Beavis and Butthead but had nothing to do with it on the spinoff show (Daria) he just gave the rights to use it since he was knee deep in King of The Hill for the firdtvhalf of the series.

Lets keep it 100.

ANY depiction of black people on B&B would’ve been of minstrel show proportions, and the LAST thing we need is another mainstream portrayal of black people looking like buffoons

KOTH did have black characters here and there. The one who got the most shine was a character voiced by Chris Rock. Again though, KOTH is basically a town of rednecks getting lowkey lampooned so why would you want to see a bunch of black characters giving the :dahell: to Dale’s stupid conspiracy theories.

King of the Hill was the shyt :wow: I saw every single episode multiple times coming up. Throw me an episode today and I'd still probably know what it's about within a few moments.

If we're being real, it's better than The Simpsons :yeshrug: simply for the fact that they knew when to STOP, if nothing else. So yeah... fukk anybody hating on the goat.

It would have worked, because Dale Gribble thought that he had a Jamaican Great-Grandmother.

Ah that makes sense. Daria was way more culturally sensitive and in tune with society compared to King Of The Hill.
