The sheets are washed in high grade industrial machines, frequently. I wouldn't really concern myself with that, but in hotel rooms where all kinds of scenarios have played out, is always kind of disconcerting, and interesting.

Also, don't stay in budget hotels, ever, 4 stars minimum.
