I'm tryna hear these words brehs, I do pushups, situps, and squats to failure every day. I used to have a much more diverse regiment but I've been feeling like simple is better for me at the moment. I kinda feel like if I don't have those down pat why throw extra shyt on myself?
No homo brehs, but you know you've arrived when another dude says this to you "I'm trying to get like you my nikka" and a dude at the gym asks you advice on proper shrug form.
Breh, these compliments have mee feeling like a king lately
One of my friends has an end of summer BBQ at his parents' house in Connecticut this year. I know the family pretty well, so they're cool with me. I was wearing that black Polo V-neck ( ) and the family was asking me if I've been working out because I look all defined and cut. I told them, "I try"
One of the guests was a girl who moved out to Seattle in April and was back in town ... I'm standing at a distance from her talking to someone else - she notices me and yells out to me that my arms and shoulders and chest are looking bigger
Another girl was asking me for some things she can do for her arms because mine are so big
And my friend's girlfriend was almost begging me to get him into the gym with me ... for a point of reference, I'm 5'8" and 185, he's 5'7" and 183, but he's fat, and I'm not
A few years ago, everyone knew me as the skinny dude who never gained weight ... now people who meet me see me like this and this is how they are going to know me It's one thing when your friends from way back see how you've changed ... it's another thing when the new people you meet have no idea what you looked like before
Or they tell themselves you must be on roids as if they're only a syringe away from being at your level. It's just such a great feeling, especially when people haven't seen you in a minute and when they finally see you again you see them marveling at the new frame that has been chiseled through hundreds of hours in the gym, meticulously watching your diet and working out when they aren't willing Then they ask how they can get like you, and you just say "Hard work".. and you look in their eyes and see that they know they don't have it in them.
