The point is that men have a certain level of privilege via being men in a patriarchal society. There are a lot of things I don't have to deal with solely based on me being a man. Being a black woman means you're a double minority in this country.

I'm not gonna get into Olympics of Oppression shyt, like I said. I walk into a store, board room, job interview, etc and am judged as a black man. But it would be foolish to deny the fact that women deal with all types of discrimination, and when you're a minority woman it's worse than being say...a white woman for instance.

Where as a new generation of Black women seek not to be at the bottom of somebodies shoe, where as Black men prefer Black women to remain in that same position, of sacrificing for nothing.

We have seen our mothers and grandmothers be Black male identified, we no longer seek to be that.
