I don't get mad at other groups for mercilessly looking out for their group's best interests. That's what group economics is all about. The exact type of group economics that makes black people victim to the things you mentioned above.
My only issue is that blacks do not do the same. As soon as we get something, we want to talk about "black and brown" coalitions. And "people of color." And "hip hop generation." And the "youth." See, even you did it...talmbout black
and latino.
@ historically black neighborhoods. Those were white neighborhoods that black people lived in. You don't have a neighborhood you don't own. Because if those were black neighborhoods, then they wouldn't be getting gentrified out of those neighborhoods. Unless you control the politics, the police, the economy and the schools in a neighborhood, then it aint yours. Even if you've been renting your apartment there for 50 years.
Due to white supremacy, black people really don't have time to react emotionally or think morally. Black people need to check game and watch what's going on around them. These other groups will do any and every thing to protect their group's interests. That includes lying to get subsidized housing. That includes withdrawing their money from banks and using a cash only economy to hide wealth. That includes manipulating advertising for who finds the housing. That includes paying off politicians to look the other way while they control who lives where.
I respect the game. And trust, I would have no issue doing the same. My problem is, my people would be the first ones snitching to the city on some "equality for all" sh#t
